If you ever do consider LASIK, please research it first. There are dangers that nobody ever mentions including irreversible and severe corneal damage (the flap they make never truly heals and can open years and years later, severe visual acuity deficits over time that can't be corrected, cornea cell death, weakening of the cornea, etc.). One of the pioneers of this surgery will no longer perform it because it is (in his opinion and mine) unethical. |
I had never heard this. Eeek! My cousin is an opthamologist and had it done years ago. So far doing well. I can't do it because there is no way I could be awake for it. I can't even apply eyeliner without twitching wildly, lol.
