Hi there. There is no such thing as a "teacup" of any dog. It's a "cutesy" name that people came up with to try to make a lot of money by breeding undersized dogs. A Yorkie, by nature, is already naturally small (standard is under 7 lbs). There are unscrupulous breeders out there (refered to as "greeders") who will use this term trying to make a lot of money selling a designer dog. Please note, a Yorkie should not ever be bred if it is under 5 lbs...it risks the health of the mother and the pups will almost assuradely have health issues.

So, to answer your question - No, teacup is not an official class of any dog. You will hear "toy" and that is correct. They are in the Toy Group.
