I don't think some Yorkies become true people-lovers until they are older and more settled down. Right now he's just enjoying being a baby and having a good time. I'd give him until he's over a year to come into his true Yorkie nature. And that nature is one that is usually so intensely a one-on-one, loving and personal a relationship that it is a huge selling point for the breed at large these days. Everybody wants their own little personal fanclub and your Yorkie, once he grows up into his true self, will likely be all that you want in a lapdog who thinks you are the star of his life.
