Shots do help. What did your allergist suggest? If it's dog dander, maybe try more baths with a shampoo that doesn't give you an allergic reaction.

With your daughter being off this summer, the bond between them should get stronger. Let your daughter do more care taking duties with your pup, bathing, walking, feeding, and cuddling! I hope everything turns out well for you! Allergies are horrible!
