New Zealand's South Island is a close second though, for the glaciers, rainforest, little blue penguins, keas, waterfalls, fjords, and views of the Magellanic Clouds, Crux, Rigil Kent, and a lot of other things you can't see in the night sky in the northern hemisphere.
