I heard the ramps are better for their limbs, esp dogs with LP or even older dogs. I hear ya, even with those cheap steps I bought at CVs he would be a pogo stick next to me till I picked him up. He would use the steps sometimes and wanted to be picked up probably 99 percent of the time!

We have had it now for 2 hours and not once has he been a pogo stick wanting me to pick him up!
