Poor guy, he has been through a lot but seems to recover and feel good again.
As for the jumpiness, my dog goes through phases of this. He will be sleeping or lying down and will suddenly, for no apparent reason, jump up and run away from me. He has no medical issues, so I feel sure it's not that. I have found that often he reacts like this when he wants something, like a drink or potty. Other times there is no explanation. Perhaps he hears a noise, has a scary dream ( if dogs dream?) , or he has tummy gas?? It is disturbing I know. Of course it could be his health issues or the meds?? Your future vet trip will hopefully help discover the cause.
Praying for Dudley that he feels better and for you, as this roller coaster is very stressful. |
