Hi Everyone, I called the vet at 3 PM this afternoon. Princess Sophie has opened her eyes but has not yet gotten up. She did roll onto her back so one of the vet techs could rub her belly. Hearing that made me smile! She just loves a good belly rub. The surgery went fine, she has clipped nails, needed no teeth removed and has been microchipped. What an ordeal.

I have been watching other threads and came to realize today that there are quite a few puppies going through this experience, yesterday, today, tomorrow, and I could go on. It looks like a lot of us got our pups right around the same time. LOL It's good to know we are in good company!

I will be calling the vet's office back closer to 5 PM to check again on how she is doing. Praying for a good and speedy recovery for Sophie and peace of mind for me and all others going through this right now. Blessings!!
