Me, too! Hope it's nothing - just the hair thick or something and no mites or fungus, etc. My vet gave me a liquid ear cleaner to use on Tibbe and it keeps his ears smelling clean and no itching since we've used it starting over 4 years ago. When I got him he had ear mites and was shaking his head fairly frequently. Took him to the vet that next morning and he said he had mites and a fungal infection in his ears. I'd noticed his ears smelled kind of sweet or musky or something and the head shaking and scratching was a dead-giveaway too that something was wrong. But a thorough ear cleaning and anti-mite, anti-fungal treatment cleared it up once and for all.
