Tibbe is exactly the same way. It's so embarrassing when I pick him up at the vet, he acts like he doesn't even recognize me and I'm in the dog house for the longest time after I get him home. He punishes me for leaving him, I guess!!! I know I have to work very, very hard to get back in His Royal Highness' Royal Good Graces again! For such a sweetie pie who sleeps on my neck at night and can't hardly be in a different room for very long without coming to check on me, comes regularly for his cuddles even when I'm working, prefers my lap to any bed or sleeping mat and insists on his lovey-dovey time several times a day, he's sure got his independent streak! And telling him "no" is definitely one of the things he's trying hard to train me not to ever do! Darn if I haven't thought about it once or twice before saying that word lately, too!
