Sorry you are in this situation due to the illness of the breeder. Syrup is just sugar but Nutrical all has nutrients added. Syrup is better than nothing. I wonder if you could temporarily take the mom to take care of your pup for a while? A bit extreme but it may be worth the effort of having more dogs. Then you could adopt out the mom to a rescue?
