I was always afraid to walk my dogs. I have heard too many times of big dogs attacking a small breed dog. We now live in the country and have very few neighbors. It only takes one though. We have some new neighbors about 1/4 of a mile up the street. They have two labs that found their way to our yard. We have a double fence and our yorkies we in the house so it was ok. We talked to the neighbors and they were very understanding. We have not seen the dogs again. But it is very scary when you have little ones...gotta keep them safe.
Hopefully your neighbor will rethink letting his dog out of the yard...or animal control will help. It's hard to know how the neighbor will react..good luck. |
