I'm actually thinking about getting more to wear as bracelets.
That D ring is perfect for charms. There is a leathergoods lady who carves designs into Brooks saddles (leather bicycle seats from England). And she makes these little leather bracelets that look like yorkie collars. The leather is much thinner and she charges $25 each. And no place to hang a charm.
