Bah, alone at the vet's office.... and give her pain meds before they leave for the night... after having been under! Are they nuts??? Anything can go wrong, god forbid
If she gets car sick, perhaps have someone drive and you sit with her, have them give her the pain meds right before you pick her up so she is drowsy for the ride...
She is safer at home, under your care and at least being observed by you!!
