Buttons might get car sick normally, but she will still be pretty out of it from pain meds and coming off anesthesia. She won't even know shes in the car - unless you live like 8 hours away or something.
Do what you feel you should do, but I think almost all the advice you are going to get here is to take her home where you can watch her and care for her. If someone was going to stay at the vet office with her, that would be different.
