Yeah...I've never heard that about riding in the car. All of our dogs have slept the entire ride home following procedures and had no issues. And I'm not sure why they'd want to see your pup the following morning...I've always been told just to bring them back in if something funky was going on and then maybe a couple weeks later to get sutures removed (if they even use the removable ones). I guess different vets do things differently though. But yes, definitely bring your baby home since your vet has put that option on the table .
