I don't understand why she'd be kept overnight. Someone has to monitor her. Is she particularly small? The vet can't leave her unattended. Maybe there's someone there overnight.

My vet did the procedure early in the morning and I picked Lucy up at about 6 pm.

Personally, I wouldn't do that unless it was an absolute necessity (having to do with the procedure itself) AND staff remained overnight to monitor her.

When I took Lucy home, she even pee'd outside later that evening. She needed help and I carried her to her spot, then picked her up and carried her back inside. Who will do that for your baby?

I might consider another vet. Good luck in your decision. Tracey
