I remember another incident where she bought about 75 pullet hens and she chopped there heads off with an ax and threw a big wash tub over them so they wouldn't flop all over the yard my job was to dip them into a big barrel of boiling water and pluck the feathers. It's a wonder I even like chicken now haha |
We were just talking about this with MIL the other night. I didn't know dipping them in boiling water helped with the feathers.
