Good question! I had to go back to the Wisdom Panel website and look for myself. For "related breeds," I see Toy Fox Terrier, Black and Tan English Toy Terrier, Havanese, Pekingese, English Toy Spaniel, and Miniature Pinscher. They don't say how they determined their list of related breeds, but my guess is that it is from similarity in their DNA profile, not necessarily in the history of the development of the Yorkshire Terrier Breed.
