She's been cleared from diabetes and we are monitering for glaucoma. The vets seem to think that it was either juvenille cataract or trauma but since both eyes are affected, although the left is just now starting to show signs they think it is genetic. But some of the lierature I've read says that poor nutrition can contribute to cataract formation. Not enough antioxidents possibly? Right now she's getting vitamin supplements and I've switched her from organix to canine caviare. She also gets the cc synergy supplements. |
