No easy way I know of. The strap that came with mine was pretty much the right length, but I had bought a 2nd strap that has 2 loops-one for neck, one for waist. That one is way too long and except cutting it with scissors and resewing it, I haven't figured how to shorten it. So, I'm using the one single loop that came with it.
