i had a cat that died a few years ago and he was burried on my relative's property. i figured it would be a good idea to bury him at a close relatives home because i don't own my own property. BUT they've SOLD their property and they're moving in a few weeks.  feels strange because my cat is still gonna be there.
in the future i plan on cremating ALL my pets and keeping them with me so that i don't have to worry about their remains.  my godmother had her yorkie and her schnauzer stuffed and she has them in her family room,  it freeeeeeaks me out.
