Ulcerations in the mouths of humans can be caused by chemical additives in the food. The body has only a few ways to rid itself of contaminants...liquid and solid waste processes, breath, and skin. If I eat anything with any 'form' of 'msg' in it, I will likely get an immediate ulceration ("canker sore") in my mouth...or on my face.

I'd check the ingredients in his food very c.a.r.e.f.u.l.l.y and if I found this to be the case, I'd throw it out, and start over with a cleaner, healthier food. If this is the case, the ulceration will go away by itself in a few days once the contaminant is eliminated.

It took me quite some time to figure out why I was getting unexpected and sudden gaping lesions in my mouth...they'd start huge...not the other way round, and stop it from happening. The research can be immense, and you are welcome to PM me...perhaps I can fill in some blanks for you with ingredients, help with your research, or give you a direction in which to start looking. {{{Hugs}}}
