I basically follow Dr. Dodd's vaccine protocol more or less.

I definitely think puppy shots are important. DHPP at 8, 12, and 16 weeks, I think it is. Then rabies as late as you possibly can (I waited until 6 months).

Then do a booster of DHPP at one year, and a booster of rabies.

Then I won't be getting anymore vaccines for him, except rabies every 3yrs as required by law.

Either way, I wouldn't ever do more than every 3 years (which is what AAHA hospitals follow).
