I read a couple articles that said dogs are not meant to be vegetarians and it is not good for them unless they have some kind of health problem where they can not have meet. I also sat through a big things about dog food from a holistic vet who said the same things. They can get sick from being on a veterinarian diet if they have no health problems that require them to be. I would consult a vet nutritionist.
