I also live in a apartment and Riley is ok with it, (he doesn't know any different) me or my partner take him to the park (2 min walk from where I live) everyday for about a hour, we let him of the leash and he loves to run around, I think he is better off then if I did live in a house with a garden, as I wouldn't take him out as much and he would only have a small garden to run in rather than a huge park! X
