I shave my boys' underside just enough so that it doesn't show from the side or the front, when they sit. It's hard to explain where those points are. For the chest hair, if they are lying on their backs, the long hair ends before their wee wee. I have them shaved maybe 3 - 4 inches above.

In terms of side to side, it is about in line with the armpits. Looks like Galen's black hair extends a little inward toward the center of belly.

I don't remember how old the boys were when their pee string developed. It doesn't need to be very long to help direct the urine downward. Their hair is growing thicker as they age, creating more of a challenge for me in trimming.
