I've heard that dogs have a good type of bacteria in their mouths that helps get rid of the bad bacteria and most dog’s mouths are much cleaner than a human's mouth even though they do things like lick butts. I personally wouldn't worry about this, but I'm pretty relaxed about that sort of thing. One possible explanation is that she emptied her anal glands last time she pooped and the liquid, while most humans find it repulsive, most dogs think it’s wonderful and will lick it right up. |
