We allow Sabu to be on the couch. However, it is another story with Julie. When she gets on the couch, she tends to scratch on the couch cover to make herself comfortable. It is to the point now, she has scratched a small hole on one couch cover. If she continues this behavior, she will begin to scratch the material on either couch, which I really don't want to see happen. So, I am asking you all how you have deterred your babies from scratching on the couch or couch cover to make themselves comfortable. I don't mind Julie hopping on the couch to nap or to get the window sill to look out at life. I just want her to stop scratching on the couch.
