I honestly didn't realize how much it all cost until I got Callie and I grew up with dogs. I didn't know about brokers and the extend of puppy mills when I got Callie until I found this website and learned about byb, bad breeders, and puppy mills and then I dug Callie's papers out and researched her breeder and it was a puppy mill! She was pooing blood when she was a puppy and they also did xrays at that time and found she had swallowed a small piece of metal and sense we had just got her and had been watching her her like a hawk we knew she had it when we got her and she had to come back and get more xrays to see if it was moving and it was thank good. She has Luxating Patella and had to have surgery on one knee for over $3,000 and is going to have to get the other knee done. Stuff is crazy expensive anymore.
