So sorry for your loss. And I am in total agreement about giving the dog toys, bed or blanket from their lost friend.
You will know when the time is right. You can never replace Buddy but a new pet helps everyone change their focus from sad to happy. I still mourn the death of a few special dogs, they will always be in my heart. But there is nothing like the antics of a new puppy and its interactions with your family to put smiles on your faces. |
