Don't give up! Go to the news stations, they will snap this heartbreaking story right up. Bring pictures and videos if you have them of all your stolen dogs and maybe people will see them around and report it, or the new owners could be nice enough to bring your dogs back after learning where they came from. Shaming the officer(s) who didn't take your report of several crimes seriously would be an added bonus. It would be ridiculously easy for the police to track down your dogs and there is absolutely no reason for them not to take the 30 minutes necessary to do so. Phone and Email records are all they need if the dogs were sold online. If you think about it your taxes pay their bills. They're your employees and their job is to help people like you so that you don't have to take matters into your own hands. Do not take no for an answer. It's not a civil matter, it's harassment, theft and vandalism! If you have friends or family have them go up there with you. It's harder to ignore a group.
If that doesn't work post fliers of the dogs with your contact info around town and in every business that will let you, especially every single vet within an hour radius if possible. You could probably fax or email it to them and ask them to keep a lookout for them.
It will be hard work, but you can get your dogs back if you are willing to put in the effort. |
