I'm not even sure I even belong on this board anymore as I don't have a yorkie anymore. As most know I lost Troy about a month ago. I didn't realize I was still grieving and wasn't ready for another dog just yet until 1am this morning.

Someone asked me to take over the care/ownership of a larger breed dog. I was surely up for the task but after feeling in my gut it wasn't right, I'm making the decision to say that they try to find another home. It's not a popular decision by any means, because I wanted to and even committed to helping the family out and even told my daughter that we would have another dog in a few days.

But the idea to take on rehome with out much history on the animal so fast, seems like it will be unfair to all involved.
