I still remember how nuts Minnie went the last day of her life when I picked up some fried chicken. I knew she didn't have much time left and figured I'd try to make her last day a really happy one (just knew it was coming the day it did
). I took some good chunks of breast meat (lowest fat on the chicken) with no skin nor breading, and I fixed her that as her meal (we had to feed her small meals every 3 hours at the end). So then I went in the other room to finish my chicken (didn't want her going nuts over my food) and she just barked like crazy. So I saved her a little more at the end and she was just ecstatic getting her favorite meal in the world and then we took a nap for an hour or so before she had to use the bathroom again (we were giving her so many fluids she needed to pee about once every hour or two).
