If your dog is yelping out when touched in a particular area, limping, curled up and not active, she's likely hurt and needs treatment. Get her to a second vet and don't take her walking until you get a diagnosis or she's acting okay again. Vets, like doctors, occasionally miss things. Could just be a strain to a partially ruptured tendon.
