 My 16 week old Baby has Parvo
I hate for this to be my first post but, I'm scared. I've had dogs my whole life and have always had them neutered, up to date on shots, heart worm and feed them good quality food. This is my first Yorkie. I got her from a breeder. She was vaccinated. Before I got her and three times since. Most recently this past Saturday 6/1/13. She was still too small for Rabies and I had not had her spayed yet. She's my first girl too. She got diarrhea Monday and then last night she started vomiting. I took her immediately to my vet. They said they have to keep her at least three days. It's expensive ad you all know. I called and the vet said she hasn't vomited, has eaten some food and is wagging her tail. Is that a good sign? I've got other dogs too. Know I've got to clean, clean and clean some more. I've been told to use Virkon and HealthGard for the laundry. Any comments would be appreciate. |
