Wow it sounds lovely. Our house is a real colonial. It is built in 1784. The house is small. The house was one room upstairs and one room down stairs.The addtion, the kitchen was added on in 1846. The stairs are narrow and a little steep. Half way up the stairs you have to duck your head. Bedroom is upstairs and bathroom is downstairs. It's a trip for midnight potty runs lol It is small but we are nestled on a ridge. The view is beautiful.
