Thanks, Mary Ellen!!! Didn't know acorns were poisonous! hmmmm ... about that "mighty oak" that the storm didn't take out?!!! There are millions of acorns in our yard ... if it weren't for sturdy St. Augustine grass we wouldn't have a lawn! I believe I have seen the mushrooms you described too!
