You should not feel guilty...and people should not get upset with you! Yes, it is true that most charities are really hurting right now but so are individuals. It is why I really encourage people to do things that don't cost money...we have lots of options on our website. Just using the Amazon link gives the pups money. Many charities do utilize these things.
Set an amount that you can afford to give and stick with it! It is not good to give so much that you put yourself in a bind!!!
