I am so sorry this happened. Is Gidgit microchipped? Any identifiable traits/characteristics? Collar/tags?
If you haven't done so, make sure you notify all shelters in your area and check daily (they will NOT keep up with it for you so you need to check daily ok?). Also, post on facebook and post a link here - many of us can share it on our FB.
