I agree to get the doggy tramadol - or other pain med. Your pup may or may not need the cone. My girl didn't touch her stitches and wasn't coned at all - which was much more comfy for her. I'm not sure whether boys are more likely to pick at the area though. He'll be groggy but very very overjoyed to see you again. Don't worry, it will turn out just fine!
