Adorable boy and great picture.

For traditional neuter (not laser):

Dogs will recuperate at different speeds, but your vet will tell you to keep him quiet tonight and limit activity for up to 2 weeks. No jumping or running. I carried Max on his walking route for almost 2 weeks. A lot of dogs will want to get back to full activity within 24 - 48 hours, but definitely curb the jumping.

No bathing for 2 weeks or until the incision heals completely.

Your vet may also tell you to feed him lightly tonight. Max always has a full meal without problem after anesthesia, but he has a cast iron stomach.

Pain meds -- make sure you get some from your vet. Max needed them the first night.

Cone -- to prevent licking of the incision.

Best wishes for your little guy for a speedy recovery.
