Oh Barry, I am so very sorry. I remember when you came here almost a year and a half ago, worried about dear Buddy. I am so glad you had that extra year with him. He got to enjoy some lovely vacations, sunbathing, and quiet nights together on the sofa with you and your wife. Even so, no matter how much time we are given with our little ones, it's just never enough, is it? You have both been wonderful parents to your fur children, and clearly, they both adore you. You made such a brave choice to release Buddy in the end. It was the kind and right thing to do. Still, I know your hearts are shattered. Losing our sweet fur babies is a pain that cuts like a knife. It will be hard for awhile, getting use to the "new normal". Holly will feel the pain too. Perhaps you can do something special in Buddy's name, as a remembrance of him? I am so very sorry for your loss. Please send my deepest sympathy to your wife during these difficult days. I'm glad you came and updated us. We really do care.
