Oh, we call cold tea "ice/iced tea", too! People are always saying "Do you want some iced tea?" And asking whether they want sweet tea vs. unsweetened never used to come up - EVERYBODY took their iced tea sweet. Now, people are less likely to just make a gallon or two of sweet tea and put sugar on the table.
You'll still here a lot of older people say "white bread" instead of bread. We Texans stick an adjective in front of lots of nouns when talking.
