When I adopted (2 mos. ago) my little Milo, the rescue recommended, "John Paul Pet Cleanse Tea Tree Shampoo" by the co-founder of Paul Mitchell. It is cruelty free & says that it soothes & moisturizes. Milo had been so badly neglected that the rescue's groomer had to shave almost all his hair off. I bathe him once a wk & so far, it has done an excellent job. I took him to the vet last wk. He sd he once had a Yorkie & he recommended that I also use a good conditioner. He sd I cld use human conditioner if I wanted b/c Yorkies hve a tendency for dry skin. So, when I bathed him Sunday, I used some of my own "Clairol nice'neasy Colorseal Conditioning Gloss". So far, he has hardly scratched at all & his coat looks wonderful. Good Luck!
