The Yorkshire Terrier Club of America is the BEST place to look for a yorkie breeder because they are the mother club and there list of things that there breeders have to do is the best things a breeder should fallow but even then you need to do you research and make sure you the breeder is reputable you also need to have your male fixed if you want a female because no reputable breeder will place a female puppy in your home when you have an unfixed male. Somethings a good breeder does that might help you are they never breed a female under 5 pounds, they keep the puppies until 12 weeks, they dock tails, there use the AKC registry, they don't have a lot of different breeds that they breed, they don't have more then one litter born at a time so they can offer personal care to each litter, you can see both parents, you can see where there dogs and the puppies are living, and they have a spay and neuter contract because they don't want just any one breeding there lines. There is probably more I'm not thinking of but if you find a breeder you can post it here and we can look at them.
