I have a crazy collection of reusable shopping bags. I keep a few in the back of my car for impromptu trips to the grocery or quick stops on the way home. Every couple of weeks I rotate them out with clean ones so they can be washed. I will forget to put the clean ones in the car, so I have to get plastic bags. I collect the bags and once a month take them to the recycle bin at the store. Except I NEVER remember them until I get to the store! Then after a couple of months I have 20 clean and unused 'green' bags, and a monster load of recyclables.
