I wouldn't have any problem with it. When I was a toddler, my parents used to pour left-over coffee with milk into our cocker spaniel's water bowl (yes, I know it's bad, but Inky lived to a ripe old age), and I used to get on my hands and knees and drink the coffee right out of the dog's bowl. After they caught me doing this a couple of times, they started giving me my own small cup of coffee with milk and sugar just to keep me from drinking out of the dog's bowl.
