 Pain
My son had a kidney stone two years ago (25). He is a real joker. He opened the door between the garage and the kitchen and fell in on the floor. I told him to get off the floor but when he looked up at me I knew he was in horrible pain. I threw him in the car and took him to the ER. They were testing him but mostly getting him ready for the OR because his white blood cell count was high (thought is was appendix)but they did a CAT scan before they took him and found a giant stone. He passed it in the ER but there was still a few small ones left up high so they gave him antibiotics and pain med and sent him home. He has to watch his water intake as he is a runner and dehyrates easily in the summer.
Everytime someone mentions this I think of the Seinfeld episode where Kramer passes a stone. |
