If you have not already, perhaps a second opinion might be in order.

That being said, I do believe I would have him go back and remove more. It really is important to get a very clean margin around a tumor. As to why he did not...it is just not that simple. They do try very hard to do that, but sometimes they find after the biopsy that more should be removed.

I am sorry you are faced with this...these decisions for our furkids are difficult.
